Newsletter for the
Appalachian Alumni Leadership Committee

A report to the members of the Appalachian ALC. To unsubscribe click here

Snow - Frost – Rain - Greetings from Beautiful Boone!

We've certainly had our share of “Spring” weather lately. The calendar reads “May” and graduation has passed, but we're already busily preparing for an exciting summer at Appalachian.

Thanks so much to all of you for your great feedback about our first ALC e-newsletter from earlier this spring. The first item of business was to select our new name.

ALC logo

And the winner is- Alumni Leadership Committee (ALC). This name reflects a more inclusive-sounding purpose and provides better representation for the various colleges across campus.

In this May ALC e-newsletter you will find

  • Campus Updates
  • Teacher Shortage Update
  • New Faculty Appointments
  • Upcoming ALC Events/Activities

Please let us know your thoughts on this new method of communication about the ALC. Your feedback on this and all that we do helps us provide meaningful, relevant programming for you.

Thanks so much for your service to Appalachian through the new Alumni Leadership Committee!

Sincerely,
The ALC Committee

(Shawn, Rob, Vivien, Jill and Greg)
