Family Fun Zone
Opens 3 1/2 hours before kickoff
The Family Fun Zone is an alcohol free tailgate area located at the new Duncan Plaza (behind Duncan Hall) in the heart of Appalachian’s campus. Mountaineer families are encouraged to visit the family fun zone on the site of the first ever football field on Appalachian's campus. This area features fun activities for mountaineers "in training" and offers a wide open space for families to enjoy the gameday experience.
Now referred to as the Family Fun Zone, this expanded area is geared toward gameday excitement for kids of all ages. A village of inflatable rides supplied by Jump! of Boone will be available.
Fans will also enjoy appearances by Yosef, opportunities to connect with ASU student-athletes, and other unique programming t
hat will vary throughout the season. Fans can also stop by to make a creative sign for use inside the stadium, courtesy of Cheap Joe's Art Stuff, as well as get their face painted Black & Gold prior to leaving for thegame. A select traveling troupe of the Marching Mountaineers will pass through the area throughout the day to provide the ultimate football tailgate touch.
